The Story so far...
Aisha Ali is the founder of Living from the Heart, an integrative and consciousness-based approach to emotional, relational, and spiritual healing.
With over 25 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and groups, Aisha brings together psychotherapy, somatic awareness, and energy healing to help people transform their lives from the inside out.
A UKCP-registered and UKAHPP-accredited psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, Aisha is also a specialist in relationship, couples, and psychosexual therapy. She draws on a rich synthesis of disciplines, including body psychotherapy, object relations theory, and attachment-based approaches. Her work is deeply informed by extensive training in Gestalt, trauma resolution (Babette Rothschild), Integrative Psychotherapy, and energy psychology, as well as psychosexual therapy with the Centre for Psychosexual Development. She continues to develop professionally through advanced study in somatic trauma healing, eco-therapy, and spiritual integration.
Her integrative practice incorporates leading-edge methodologies including Imago Relationship Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal-informed Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Body Psychotherapy. She also works with Flow-State Psychotherapy and Embodied Leadership practices, which cultivate coherence and creative aliveness. Aisha integrates Conscious Uncoupling, Sacred Relating, and Mystical Psychotherapy—drawing on archetypes, ritual, and transpersonal awareness—to support transformation through intimacy and loss. Her energy-based training includes meditation and Energy Psychology modalities such as EFT . She is committed to Embodied Ethics and Trauma-Informed Supervision as foundations for healing professionals.
Over the decades, Aisha has developed the Living from the Heart Method™—a trauma-informed, heart-centred therapeutic approach that combines the rigour of psychotherapy with the soul of spiritual practice. This unique framework draws on Eastern wisdom traditions, Chi Kung, Pranic healing, Yoga, Shamanic practice, and breath-based energy work to support clients in moving beyond pain and into embodied presence, intimacy, and relational repair. Her work increasingly includes nature-based healing and eco-therapeutic principles, reconnecting clients to the intelligence of the earth and their own inner ecology.
Aisha works with individuals, couples, and families seeking deep healing from trauma, relational breakdowns, and emotional disconnection. Her Couples Intensives and Conscious Leadership Retreats offer transformational experiences rooted in relational intelligence, nervous system regulation, and sacred attunement. Aisha views intimate relationships not only as containers for healing but as sacred paths for awakening—where the personal becomes spiritual, and love becomes a catalyst for growth. These bespoke programmes draw clients from across the UK and internationally.
As a trainer and clinical supervisor, Aisha offers advanced healing trainings for psychotherapists, coaches, and facilitators wishing to integrate depth psychotherapy, body-based awareness, and spiritual attunement into their practice. Her Advanced Skills Learning Groups and Embodied Facilitation Trainings support professionals to expand their relational depth, intuitive intelligence, and ethical clarity. These programmes are ideal for those looking to refine their presence, develop a trauma-informed practice, and cultivate conscious leadership in their work. Aisha works with cultivating the Divine Feminine in conscious Leadership, supporting women to lead from embodied wisdom, emotional authenticity, and spiritual alignment.
Aisha’s eco-therapeutic work honours the deep connection between healing and the natural world. She invites clients to engage with the earth as a co-regulator, guide, and sacred witness in their process. Her approach draws on the ancient knowing that trees were here first, that the land remembers, and that healing occurs when we return to the rhythms of nature. Through mindful immersion in natural spaces, ritual with the elements, and somatic attunement to the seasons, Aisha helps clients reawaken their relationship to the more-than-human world. This reconnection with the land, water, trees, and sky becomes a pathway to restoration, ancestral memory, and a sense of belonging.
Central to her practice is an understanding of flow—the spontaneous intelligence of the body, psyche, and spirit in motion. Aisha works with creativity not only as a tool for expression but as a sacred current of life force (prana, chi, kundalini) that animates healing and transformation. Her work helps clients reclaim their vitality, reconnect with their sensual and imaginative selves, and restore the natural rhythms of connection, pleasure, and inner guidance

Aisha’s work acknowledges the impact of intergenerational and collective trauma on personal healing. She helps clients identify inherited patterns and somatic imprints that have been passed down through family lines and societal systems. By working with ancestral memory, cultural trauma, and collective grief, her approach supports deep restoration, reconnection, and liberation across timelines. Healing becomes not only personal but also an offering to the wider field of consciousness and community. Aisha’s work is inherently transcultural and inclusive. She has worked with clients from diverse cultural, racial, and spiritual backgrounds, and offers a therapeutic approach that honours each person’s story, identity, and ancestral context. Her practice is informed by a deep sensitivity to how cultural narratives, colonial histories, and migration shape psychological development and relationship dynamics. She works internationally—both online and in person—supporting clients and professionals across continents, and integrates a decolonised lens to harness dignity, belonging, and liberation in the healing process.
Her background in Theatre for Development and Dramatherapy infuses her work with a reverence for creativity, myth, and ritual. She understands healing as a relational, creative, and sacred process—an invitation to return to the essence of who we are, through connection with self, others, spirit, and the living worldAisha has contributed to the BACP Journal, BADth Journal, Psychologies Magazine, BBC London Live Radio, ITV, and Channel 4. Her voice has been a respected contribution to public conversations on therapy, trauma, sexuality, addiction, depression, and the integration of mind-body-spirit in healing. She has taught, trained, or consulted for organisations including the NHS, Mind, Birkbeck College, Bristol University, Roehampton Institute, Metanoia, London Friend, Victim Support, and various Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) providers.
Whether working with couples, therapists, or leaders, Aisha holds space for the unfolding of love as a spiritual path, where consciousness becomes curriculum, and the heart becomes guide. Her approach honours the psycho-spiritual dimensions of intimacy, including psychosexual healing, and brings a sacred lens to relationship work.
In her work, Aisha invites people into a sanctuary of presence, truth, and possibility. She is currently writing a book on the healing of wounding in humanity, relationships, social disconnection, and the transformative power of conscious love.
“My mission is to help people awaken to the wisdom of the heart. I believe that true healing is a return to wholeness—not only within ourselves, but within our relationships, our communities, and our connection to the natural world.”
