Psychotherapist, healer and educator, Aisha Ali integrates somatic therapy, energy healing, and spiritual wisdom to guide individuals and couples into deeper connection, embodiment, and transformation
Meet Aisha Ali, UKCP Psychotherapist | Supervisor | Trainer- Clinical Roots, Spiritual Depth
Aisha Ali is the founder of Living from the Heart, a consciousness-based, integrative approach to emotional, relational, and spiritual healing. With over 25 years of clinical experience, she weaves together psychotherapy, somatic wisdom, and energy medicine to support deep transformation in individuals, couples, and groups.
Her work views intimate relationships as sacred paths to awakening—spaces where personal and ancestral healing meet spiritual growth. As a UKCP-registered and UKAHPP-accredited psychotherapist, Aisha specialises in couples therapy intensives, trauma-informed psychotherapy, and psychosexual counselling.
Drawing clients from across the UK, Europe, the US, and Asia, her practice is shaped by a transpersonal and transcultural lens—honouring the complexity of identity, heritage, and intergenerational healing. Based in London and working internationally, Aisha offers in-person sessions, online therapy, and advanced trainings for therapists and facilitators seeking to work at depth.
Conscious Relationship Therapy | Couples Intensives
A UKCP-registered and UKAHPP-accredited psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, Aisha specialises in relationship, couples, and psychosexual therapy. Her approach draws from a rich synthesis of body psychotherapy, object relations, and attachment-based frameworks. She has trained extensively in Gestalt, Integrative Psychotherapy, and trauma resolution with leading figures such as Babette Rothschild and Peter Levine, and has undertaken specialist training in psychosexual therapy with the Centre for Psychosexual Development.
Bridging Eastern and Western traditions, Aisha’s work is grounded in in-depth study of both somatic and spiritual lineages. Her exploration of sexuality as a vital life force is influenced by the pioneering insights of Wilhelm Reich, recognising that true healing involves the integration of eros, embodiment, and energy. This orientation allows her to support clients in reclaiming their vitality, creativity, and relational aliveness as pathways to wholeness.
Living from the Heart™: A Trauma-Informed, Integrative Path to Healing
Over the decades, Aisha has developed the Living from the Heart Method™—a trauma-informed, heart-centred approach that unites the clinical depth of psychotherapy with the soul of spiritual practice. Rooted in Eastern wisdom traditions, Chi Kung, Pranic healing, Yoga, Shamanic practice, and breath-based energy work, this method supports clients in moving beyond pain and into embodied presence, intimacy, and relational repair.
Increasingly, her work integrates nature-based healing and eco-therapeutic principles, reconnecting people to the intelligence of the land and their own inner ecology. This reconnection also serves as a portal to ancestral and generational healing—awakening memory in the body, honouring inherited wounds, and restoring lineage coherence across time.
In returning to the rhythms of the earth, clients often discover a deeper belonging that transcends the personal and reweaves connection across soul, spirit, and family lines.
Aisha’s integrative practice weaves together pioneering methodologies to support deep relational and personal transformation. She draws on modalities such as Imago Relationship Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal-Informed Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Body Psychotherapy to help clients regulate, repair, and reconnect. Her work with Flow-State Psychotherapy and Embodied Leadership cultivates creative coherence, relational attunement, and aliveness.
Informed by a transpersonal lens, Aisha integrates Conscious Uncoupling, Sacred Relating, and Mystical Psychotherapy—using archetypes, ritual, and spiritual insight to navigate transitions and awaken deeper meaning in intimacy and loss. Her energy-based training includes meditation, Pranic Healing, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and other evidence-informed Energy Psychology modalities. She also offers Embodied Ethics and Trauma-Informed Supervision, creating reflective and resilient foundations for healing professionals and group facilitators.
Aisha works with individuals, couples, and families who are navigating trauma, relational breakdown, and emotional disconnection.
Living from the Heart Couples Intensives and Conscious Leadership Retreats offer immersive, transformational spaces rooted in nervous system regulation, relational intelligence, and sacred attunement. Her Bespoke programmes support clients in restoring trust, intimacy, and coherence in their lives and relationships.
Aisha views intimate relationships as sacred containers for healing and awakening—where the personal becomes spiritual, and love becomes a powerful catalyst for growth. Her work helps clients move beyond survival patterns into connection, vitality, and conscious partnership. Drawing clients from across the UK and internationally, she offers both in-person and online pathways to healing. Aisha has trained extensively in specialist models of couples therapy, including Imago Relationship Therapy, Gestalt Couples Work (Zinker), and developmental-relational approaches.
Her couple’s work is rooted in both theory and deep practice, drawing on attachment, developmental, emotional regulation, and conscious communication. Whether working with crisis, recovering from betrayal, or seeking deeper intimacy, Aisha offers a grounded, sacred container for repair and reconnection.
Professional Training, Supervision, and Embodied Leadership
As a trainer and clinical supervisor, Aisha offers advanced development for psychotherapists, coaches, and facilitators who wish to integrate depth psychotherapy, somatic awareness, and spiritual attunement into their work. Her Advanced Skills Learning Groups and Embodied Facilitation Trainings are designed to enhance relational depth, intuitive intelligence, and trauma-informed ethical practice.
Aisha also supports the cultivation of Conscious Leadership in both women and men—guiding individuals to lead from embodied presence, emotional authenticity, and inner alignment. Her work with Divine Feminine Leadership invites all who resonate with these qualities—regardless of gender—to step into heart-led, spiritually grounded ways of leading and relating.
Eco-Therapy, Creative Flow, and the Wisdom of Nature
Aisha’s eco-therapeutic work honours the profound relationship between healing and the natural world. She invites clients to engage with the earth as co-regulator, guide, and sacred witness—recognising nature as an active partner in trauma recovery and emotional integration. Her approach is rooted in ancestral wisdom: the trees were here first, the land remembers, and true healing begins when we return to nature’s rhythms.
Through mindful immersion in wild landscapes, elemental ritual, and somatic attunement to the cycles of the seasons, Aisha helps clients reconnect with the more-than-human world. This sacred reconnection with land, water, trees, and sky opens a portal to restoration, ancestral memory, and deep belonging.
Aisha offers therapeutic integration for clients engaging with plant-based medicine journeys, supporting the embodiment of insights and the ethical, psychological, and spiritual integration of expanded states of consciousness.
Flow is also central to her practice—the spontaneous intelligence of body, psyche, and spirit in motion. Aisha works with creativity not only as a form of expression but as a sacred current of life force (prana, chi, kundalini) that animates healing and transformation. She supports clients in reclaiming vitality, sensuality, and imagination, restoring their inner rhythm of connection, pleasure, and intuitive guidance.
Intergenerational Healing and Transcultural Integration
Aisha’s work addresses the deep imprint of intergenerational and collective trauma on the psyche, body, and relationships. She helps clients identify inherited emotional patterns and somatic imprints passed down through familial lines, cultural conditioning, and historical systems of oppression. Through attunement to ancestral memory, systemic trauma, and collective grief, Aisha facilitates a healing process that is both personal and transpersonal—where restoration becomes an offering not just to the self, but to lineage, land, and community.
Her practice is inherently transcultural and inclusive. Aisha brings decades of experience working with clients from diverse racial, cultural, and spiritual backgrounds. She offers a therapeutic approach that honours identity, ancestry, and the complexities of belonging. Sensitive to how migration, colonial histories, and cultural narratives shape psychological development and relationship dynamics, Aisha integrates a decolonised and dignity-based lens into her work.
Working internationally—both online and in-person—she supports individuals and professionals across continents. Her approach builds a sense of wholeness grounded in respect, relational integrity, and the liberation of the soul, transcending time, space, and cultural boundaries.
Creative Roots and Public Contributions
Aisha’s background in Theatre for Development and Dramatherapy infuses her work with a deep reverence for creativity, myth, and ritual. She views healing as a relational and sacred process—an invitation to return to the essence of who we are through connection with self, others, spirit, and the living world. Her integrative lens draws on storytelling, symbolic imagination, and embodied expression as powerful catalysts for transformation.
Aisha has contributed to respected platforms such as the BACP Journal, BADth Journal, Psychologies Magazine, BBC London Live Radio, ITV, and Channel 4. Her voice has added depth to public conversations on therapy, trauma, sexuality, addiction, depression, and the integration of mind, body, and spirit in healing.
She has taught, trained, or consulted for a wide range of organisations, including the NHS, Mind, Birkbeck College, Bristol University, Roehampton Institute, Metanoia, London Friend, Victim Support, and numerous Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) providers.

Whether working with couples, therapists, or leaders, Aisha holds space for the unfolding of love as a spiritual path—where consciousness becomes curriculum, and the heart becomes guide. Her approach honours the psycho-spiritual dimensions of intimacy, including psychosexual healing, and brings a sacred, embodied lens to relationship work.
Aisha invites those she works with into a sanctuary of presence, truth, and possibility—where relationships become vessels for healing, transformation, and awakened love. She is currently writing a book exploring the collective and relational wounding of humanity, the epidemic of disconnection, and the profound healing potential of conscious love.
“My mission is to help people awaken to the wisdom of the heart. I believe that true healing is a return to wholeness—not only within ourselves, but within our relationships, our communities, and our connection to the natural world.” Aisha Ali
